Financial Aid Scholarship
First Tee — Central Ohio currently provides scholarships for about 40% of our participants who meet the financial aid criteria and would not otherwise have to opportunity for their children to participate in learning about the game of golf or the life skills that this great game teaches. As we move forward, we are focused on increasing the funding to provide not only more scholarships, but to potentially begin to offset the overall costs to all participants from funding and donations we receive.
To apply for a financial aid for ANY of our programs, simply click on the “request financial aid” box when you register. We do not turn any student away due to financial need.

The Bob Morton Scholarship – $2,500
The Bob Morton Scholarship was established to be awarded exclusively to our program students who successfully apply and gain access to any 2- or 4-year higher learning institutions as well as meet all of our program eligibility requirements. Our scholarship committee accepts, reviews, and awards this scholarship annually. This is currently a one-time award for our recipient with no renewals.
The Jimmy Logan Scholarship – $1,000
The Jimmy Logan Scholarship was established to be awarded exclusively to our students who seek access to any higher learning institution (2- or 4-year or technical school) as well as meet our program eligibility requirements. Our scholarship committee accepts, reviews, and awards this scholarship annually. The scholarship may be renewed based on the availability of funds and the applicant’s continued meeting of qualifications.
LPGA Scholarships
The LPGA Foundation administers several scholarship programs for young women who enjoy the game of golf and plan to attend college. Qualifications for all scholarships include strong academic programs, community service and recommendations.
